For W-

  One kiss led softly to another,
His every breath becoming mine.
I felt his heartbeat pounding quickly.
He held me close, our hands entwined.

He whispered words so sweet and lovely;
He seemed so shy but so sincere.
His touch was gentle as his kisses.
He sighed my name and pulled me near.

I knew come day he'd have to leave me.
I watched him go with longing heart.
Would he come back? Would he forget me?
Was this the end or just the start?

With that first kiss his lips my soul touched;
I felt my heart thaw from its freeze.
Who knows where that first kiss shall lead him?
I hope it draws him back to me.
